Buffer Problem?

I keep getting a pop up and this is what it says,, Microsoft visual c++ runtime libray,,, program:c/windows/explorer.exe,,,Buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's enternal state the program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated... when I press ok my screem goes blank everything from my desktop disappears for about 2 minutes and then the warning comes back again

Buffer Problem?
Just make sure you have the latest .DLL files, by downloading and installing the latest, runtime module. IE. VBRun60sp5.exe, go to Microsoft's site for the file.

I have trouble with iTunes Please Help!?

Whenever I open iTunes or Quicktime a get an error message box that Reads:


"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library"


Program:C:\ProgramFiles


\Quicktime


\Quicktimeplayer.exe"





Then it says a buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the programs internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated.





Can this be fixed??

I have trouble with iTunes Please Help!?
I havnt been able to get itunes to work on windows vista. I don't think it supports vista yet. you can get the itunes alternative search google.

I am facing two problems with my computer when I log in?

1) I get this message on my desktop.

The moment i close it, desk top items disappear. I tried different antivirus software but the problem persists





2) I also get this web page HTTP 404 Not found error with IE 6, even when I switched to fire fox.








I use windows XP with SP2

I am facing two problems with my computer when I log in?
Some of your system files on your system are corrupt or you could have a virus and or spyware on your system. First thing if would do is boot into safe mode and scan for virus. But if you don't have an up to date virus scanner, try the repair option. More info on this can be found here

Or if you have the manufacture restore cd try it





In the worst case situation you will have to reformat the drive and start from scratch.





If you don't have an anti virus I strongly recommend you get one.





I recommend getting Mcafee ($40)


I do not recommend getting Norton

HELP!! I keep getting this error and it freezes my computer up for a few seconds and then my taskbar..........

You def. have spyware/virus. First thing is to turn off system restore (right click my computer icon, properties) Next download or at least have 2 or 3 spyware cleaners.. Ad-aware - spybot --ect. Install and update the definitions. Also download ccleaner its free as well (this just cleans temp files/junk). Now restart your computer in safe mode, restart computer and when booting start tapping F8 key and choose safe mode. Then scan your computer with your utilities you just updated. This process may take several times of rebooting and scanning.

Reply:What the hell? Worms Viruses? Malware? your both nuts! Checkured don't listen these fools saying viruses or malware or worms. Their just trying to act smart for their two points. It's system C driver failure. It will happen to every computer it spends all its life spinning round and it wears out. You need to get a new one. Or get a new computer. Also your computer has a corrputed file the guy who said use fix windows xp tools try that and see it might not be system c drive failure

Sounds like you have a virus maybe.





Buffer overflow is used by malicious hackers to ruin programs. I would get help from a professional to re-install explorer.exe.
